Thanks for your interest in supporting the Pet Evacuation Team—our volunteers make everything we do possible.
Ways to Help:
Provide hands-on care during deployments (24/7 sheltering)
Represent PET at community events
Manage and load/unload equipment
Support social media, tech, website, and fundraising
Serve on the Board of Directors
Volunteering to serve animals in crisis is incredibly rewarding. Whether you give an hour a month or several each week, there’s a place for you.
No special skills needed (but they are welcome!)—training is provided. We value commitment, teamwork, and respect for animals and fellow volunteers.
To get started, fill out an application and waiver (see up above).
If you are passionate about animal welfare and don’t mind getting your hands dirty, join our team of like-minded volunteers. There are so many ways you can participate! With a potentially challenging fire season ahead, being ready to help animals in need matters more than ever. Whether you’re new to PET or a returning volunteer who hasn’t trained or deployed for awhile, this is a great opportunity to get involved, reconnect, and be prepared to support animals in crisis.
